We are from the UK

Paul Mackay
We are from the UK. It was a great and historic house. The air conditioning was efficient. There is only one bathroom so be mindful of this, it is an old house. It is in a commercial area but close to the city. It is not easily walkable and there are no stores nearby on foot so be prepared to drive. However, a Lyft to Downtown costs $5-$10 and so fast it is like teleportation. The kitchen and cooking facilities are great, check in / out was no problem at all and the interior and exterior detail is wonderful in this old house. There is a good TV and you can stream from it, very big fridge with filtered water and the provided washer and dryer were really useful. I felt safe there, there is a porch for sitting and watching the world go by. Secure parking takes a load off your mind and the proximity to town was truly great. I really loved it and would stay here again in a heartbeat. To me, there were no downsides to staying here.

Thank you for sharing your home

Thank you for sharing your home. The street at night and surrounding area was pretty loud when trying to sleep. I think if were younger or didn’t do the trip in a 3 day turn around 12 hrs each way it would have been better experience for sleeping. The house decor and original design is fabulous. I was in love with the details and original floors. Definitely felt like a home. Thank you again for sharing your home with my family for my daughter’s graduation from Belmont.

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and we absolutely loved the place

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and we absolutely loved the place. The location is walkable into the main hub of Nashville, there's a place with great breakfast burritos only a 10 min walk away. We also stopped by Cafe Babu for coffee/food almost every morning, which is only 5 mins round the corner. The house is a really good size, lovely big bedrooms and lots of other spaces to sit and chill. One of the main reasons we picked this place was the outside space. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch to have coffee in the morning (and wine in the evening!) Talking of wine...there was a lovely bottle of red wine waiting for us - thank you! I'd definitely recommend this place to stay if you want to be close enough to Broadway but not right on it. Would stay again!

Love that the place has all the charm still, but modern amenities

Love that the place has all the charm still, but modern amenities. The house story plaque was a nice touch. A great location for zipping around Nashville.

Very cool house full of character

Very cool house full of character. Location is great. It’s near downtown so there is a lot of road noise, but we had a great stay. It was a nice place to come “home” to each night after work.

We were in town for a friend’s engagement and had a great time in this charming home

Perfect home for our stay in Nashville

Perfect home for our stay in Nashville. We attended a concert at Bridgestone. Quick Uber ride to the venue. We walked to New Heights Brewery during the day. Safe, industrial neighborhood downtown that is booming with renovated homes. The house was perfect. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of wine. Very clean, comfortable beds, and everything you would need in the kitchen. Plenty of parking in the gated lot. We will definitely try to stay here again. Thank for hosting us.

Such a beautiful, historic home

Monica Frankart
Such a beautiful, historic home! We were very comfortable and happy with all the amenities offered. We were a little thrown by the note, saying they were downstairs neighbors, believing upon booking that we had the whole home to ourselves. We didn’t hear any noise or have any issues with the downstairs neighbors, but it did make us nervous about the quiet hours posted (we have 5 children, ages 7 and under, so quiet hours always make us nervous! Haha). Very happy with our stay and would definitely visit again!!
