Cancellation Policies
If a guest wishes to cancel the reservation, the funds will be refunded as follows:
Regardless when the booking takes place, if Guest cancels their stay five days prior to the Check-In-Date, a full refund of all rent and fees shall be issued.
Regardless when the booking takes place, if Guest cancels less than five days prior to the Check-In-Date, Guest understands and agrees that zero refund dollars ($0.00) shall be issued. Additionally, Guest understands and agrees there shall be no refunds for shortened stays for any reason. The Property Management Company may also be entitled to cancel the Guest stay if Rental Rules are broken during the period with a zero dollar ($0.00) refund to Guest.
Rental Policy
Direct bookings cannot be made within seven (7) days of desired check-in day. To protect the safety and security of our guests, all direct bookings on our site require a two-step verification process following purchase. The reservation holder will be responsible for signing a rental agreement and completing a background check administered by Safely. The seven-day window allows for this information to be processed – thanks for understanding!

Refund Policy
By booking with Stay Local Nashville, you understand that it is our policy to require a fully executed Non-Disparagement Agreement (NDA) prior to issuing any refund of any amount for any reason. Additionally, by booking with Stay Local Nashville, you understand and agree that you shall not be entitled to a refund of any amount without fully executing this NDA.
Safely Screening
By booking with Stay Local Nashville, I give permission to SafelyStay, Inc., to screen my identity, and check criminal databases in order to confirm my reservation. Complete terms regarding Safely’s guest screening can be found at www.safely.com/terms. You may receive an email from [email protected] to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email, and contact Safely at [email protected], or go to www.Safely.com, if you have any questions. Additionally, I agree that the rental agreement must be signed and Safely guest screening must be completed within 3 days, otherwise my stay will be cancelled.
Damage Waiver
You are renting a PRIVATE HOME. Please treat the property with the respect you would like shown to your own home. We get that accidents happen – some more sober than others – and we want you to be aware of your Damage Waiver coverage should something get a little wild during your stay. In an attempt to make this easier for you, the Damage Waiver fee is INCLUDED IN YOUR CLEANING FEE. Here’s how it works:
By booking with Stay Local Nashville, Inc., you understand and accept that your booking fees include a Damage Waiver. It is the Guests’ responsibility (that’s you!) to report damage that is caused to the Property during your stay. The vacation rental Damage Waiver is not insurance, but instead an agreement by Stay Local Nashville, Inc., to replace or repair unintentional damages up to $1,000.00 (one thousand dollars) in total to the rental unit’s interior. Damages that qualify for this agreement must occur during a Guest’s reservation, be disclosed to management prior to check out, and the Damage Waiver must have been paid in full prior to arrival (don’t worry, it’s wrapped into the cleaning fee!). Any damages that either exceed $1,000.00 (one thousand dollars), are not disclosed prior to check out, or are deemed intentional, will be charged to the credit card on file, through the Airbnb resolution center, or through VRBO’s damage claim center. The Damage Waiver does not include theft or intentional or negligent damage and will not be covered by this fee and the Guest will be liable for all costs associated with intentional or negligent damage. The Guest is liable for any and all costs and fees associated with the vacation rental, including reasonable collection costs and attorney’s fees that are in any way associated with the Guest’s and/or the Guest’s invitee’s breach of this agreement, including but not limited to, money owned under this agreement for damage to the premises, fees, and/or fines.

Payments
Payments can be made by Visa or Mastercard. We do not accept AMEX.
Reservations and Deposits
All reservations require a payment to hold chosen dates.
Reservation Prices do not Include
Expenses and items not mentioned, including, but not limited to: transportation, tips for personal services, meals, insurance, telephone calls and other items of a personal nature.
Responsibility
Tenant hereby assumes all risk of damage to any and all personal property of Landlord and Tenant, including household furniture and goods during such use and occupancy. Tenant hereby assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Landlord harmless from and indemnify Landlord against the same.
Use
It is agreed that the Premises shall be used only for residential purposes, no animals and for no other purpose whatsoever. There will be a $300 fee charged for additional cleaning if evidence of a pet has been found.
Tenant in the possession, use and occupancy of the Premises agrees to observe and comply with all restrictions, laws and ordinances affecting the Premises or occupancy thereof.
Tenant further agrees that no use shall be made of the Premises, or acts done which will increase the existing rate of insurance upon the Premises, or will cause a cancelation of any insurance policy covering the Premises.
Smoking is not permitted in any residence. A $300 fee will be charged for ionization, if smoking in the property is detected. Each Tenant is responsible for any and all damages made during their stay. Tenant shall be charged directly for full cost of repair, replacement, and/or cleaning needed due to Tenant damages.
