The 1920s art deco theme isn't just a design choice here—it's a full Great Gatsby experience that guests consistently call "stunning," "unique," and a complete vibe. This three-story townhome wins hearts with its rooftop deck, exceptionally comfortable beds (seriously, multiple guests want to take them home), and a game room that's perfect for spreading out. The location strikes a sweet spot: walkable to restaurants and bars, a quick Uber to Broadway, but far enough from downtown chaos to feel like a retreat. Fair warning—the home sits near the highway, though thoughtful sound machines in every bedroom help, and those three flights of stairs mean the kitchen's on top (great for views, tough if you're hauling groceries or have mobility concerns).
Check-in is simple and straightforward with clear instructions. Hosts Teryn and Darbi are consistently praised for being responsive and helpfulu2014guests mention quick replies to questions, flexibility with early check-in when possible, and proactive check-ins from their team during stays.
This is a three-story townhome with several flights of stairs, so it's not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. The kitchen is on the top (third) floor, which means hauling groceries up but also means great views and a nice open living space. The game room provides a separate hangout spot, and there are plenty of bathrooms throughout.
The home is located near the highway, so there is traffic noise. However, hosts provide sound machines in every bedroom, which most guests say helped them sleep well. A few guests still noticed the noise even with the machines, especially in front-facing bedrooms, so light sleepers should be aware.
It's about a 10-15 minute Uber ride to downtown Broadwayu2014close enough to be convenient but far enough to avoid the crowds and chaos. The neighborhood itself is walkable with restaurants, bars, and coffee shops nearby in both directions, and guests consistently felt safe walking at night.
The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware and essentials (including spices and coffee), bathrooms have toiletries, and there are plenty of towels and extra blankets. Some guests were welcomed with a bottle of wine. The rooftop deck and game room (with shuffleboard) are major perks for hanging out.
